Very Brief Forecast

Posted in Uncategorized by Administrator on the June 3rd, 2009

This forecast is really turning into a pain in the ass. Changes in the models, subtle problems with the setup and a million other things I still need to do are driving me crazy.

I barely forecasted this afternoon. I wanted to try to take a break from it. When you’re really busy all day the last thing you want to do is stare at a computer all night trying to make decisions on forecasting that will affect several other people. Even when I’m chasing alone it’s still a very stressful process.

Things keep moving around so much that all I’m going to say right now is that I like western Kansas from DDC to north of there a ways along the dryline on Friday and then on Saturday it’s a tough call, but I’ll go with central Kanas, maybe around Salina. The cap strength is going to greatly influence my target making decisions. There’s no reason to stress myself out for two hours forecasting on an even that is still 96 hours away. Instead I am going to focus on getting the equipment ready, cleaning out my car and getting some new equipment I have installed and working properly. I’ll post in the morning when I have a little more energy.
